The 16 camera sets that Medialab lends consist of:
- Video Camera (Sony PXW-Z150)
- Tripod (Sachtler)
- Microphone with windscreen
- Microphone rod
- Headphones
These camera sets are intended to be operated by at least two students: a camera person plus a sound person. A third crew member for directing, reporting and/or interviews is recommended.
The Medialab also has 7 smaller, more manageable camera sets on loan. These include:
- Video Camera (Sony HXR-NX70)
- Tripod (Sachtler ACE) Handheld
- Microphone (Sennheiser MD42/MD46)
- Headphones
These small camera sets are very suitable for duos: a camera person plus an interviewer.
